Located on the western shore of St. Bartholomew Anglican Church, these steps were carved out of the landing rocks where the visiting Bishop, or other church officials, would disembark from his sailboat, when they visited to conduct church business. Traveling by sailboat was the only means of transportation from the outside world at that time.
