Bullock's Harbour, more commonly known as "The Village," is the capital of The Berry Islands and it is where the majority of locals live. The Administration Building is the Central Government's main facility and houses the island Administrator's Office, Local Government, the Post Office, Court House, Health and National Insurance. The island's first school was established in St. Bartholomew Church and was succeeded by the R. N. Gomez All Age School, built by and later named after Reuben Nathaniel Gomez. There are also a number of shops, restaurants and bars located here.
