Description of Event

This festival takes place around World Earth Day and features music, exhibits, movies, and fun for all. Activities include:

  • Junkanoo workshops (Cardboard manipulation and goat skin drum building demonstration)
  • Presentations and films (Islands of the Bahamas, Plastic Ocean, Bahamas Plastic Movement)
  • Music and Dance (Rake and Scrape, Quadrille Performers)
  • Children's corner (Face painting, bean bag toss, water balloon toss, tug of war)
  • Educational booths (Protecting the seas and marine life, health and wellness)
  • Craft and Artist booths
  • Food and drink booths
