This house was built by local author/historian, Ashley Saunders, and is occupied by him. It is a popular attraction in his walking tour of Alice Town. The unique structure offers guest quarters and a mini museum where tours are conducted.

Hours Open: 10:00 a.m.-6:00 p.m. Monday-Saturday (Closed Sunday)

Persons in wheelchairs will need help moving around because of the staircase to the other two levels of the house.

The Dolphin House is made up of numerous shells, beach glass, sea fans, and other little natural resources which make it so unique.

Mr. Ashley Saunders was born and raised in Bimini and is a historian, preservationist, poet laureate, author of two books, and distinguished educator. He is a Bahamian Cacique award winner, plus the designer, builder, and owner of the Dolphin House.
