Description of Event

Junkanoo, the National Festival of The Bahamas, represents an important part of our culture. Come out and watch the locals shake their bodies to the vibrant and vivacious sounds of whistles, cowbells, and goat skin drums. This event is held annually around Majority Rule Day in January.

Venue: Queen's Highway in Governor's Harbour, Central Eleuthera.

Ages Festival is Appropriate For: All Ages

Accessibility Notes: Persons with mobility impairments and those in wheelchairs should be careful moving around on the site and in the crowd.
