Flo’s Conch Bar and Restaurant on Little Harbour Cay is run by Mr. Chester Darville, the owner/host as well as the cook. He creates Bahamian seafood and other specialties, but is also known for his celebrated Rum Punch from a secret recipe.

Ask anyone who has been to these islands and they will certainly tell you about the restaurant's world renowned ambiance, which is complemented by the scrumptious native dishes, like their famous 'conchy' conch fritters, ice-cold drinks, great music, and unrivaled views.

It is recommended that you give three-hours' notice to prepare your food.

 Locally or Family-Owned Business Notes

Flo’s Conch Bar was founded in 1993 by Mr. Chester Darville, who was born and raised on the island but moved away when he became of working age. After his father’s death in 1974, Chester followed his father's wishes to bring the family back together on the island of his upbringing. The dream became reality after some years of hard work and saving, and he was able to open a business of his own. Flo, who was Chester’s mother, was known for her warm hospitality and delicious Conch Fritters. She served as head chef while Chester served and entertained their customers. Many other Darville family members have also worked at the restaurant from the beginning, which further cemented Chester's goal to bring the family together. Other Berry Island locals were also invited to join the kitchen team, thereby giving back to the community.

Flo passed away in 2011, but her memory lives on in her namesake restaurant. From its humble beginnings, Flo’s Conch Bar has now become a must visit destination for visitors to the Berry Islands chain, and it enjoys a steady stream of patrons year-round.
