Description of Event

This family-oriented event, held every year during the Emancipation Day holiday weekend, is a homecoming festival for former residents of the island. It opens with an Ecumenical Church Service and features a variety of activities for all age groups:

  • Gospel concert
  • Live entertainment with visiting artists
  • Local food and drinks for sale
  • Salty games, domino tournament, ball games
  • Youth talent competition
  • Karate demonstrations
  • Cultural extravaganza
  • Tours of the Morton Salt Company, the Inagua National Park and the Inagua Lighthouse
  • Fishing trips
  • Junkanoo rush-out
  • Fireworks
