

Name of Person: Pete Johnston
Using a 5,000 year old wax process, Pete Johnston has been specializing in bronze sculptures ever since it was introduced to him by his father, the late Randolph Johnston, in 1952.
Today, both Pete and his father's work are known worldwide and can be seen in such places as the Vatican's Museum in Rome, Rawson Square in Nassau and many domestic and international art galleries.
The foundry is still in operation and remains the only bronze foundry in the Bahamas. It is tucked away in the unspoiled and secluded location of Little Harbour that also offers a family-owned pub and art gallery.
