Roger Cartwright, the owner, grew up in Long Island, fishing the surrounding waters, always with a deep appreciation for its secret beauty. As he became more experienced with, not only the waters but also the mechanics of boats from fiberglass work to engine repair, Roger became sought after by locals, the two marinas and second homeowners alike, for assistance with boats. Several individuals encouraged him to make available boats to rent that would be of superior quality and dependability.

 Eco-Friendly Notes

Our family run business has members who are strong supporters of the implementation of the proposed marine protected area of Long Island. We encourage the protection of all species especially our marine life and reefs. We do not allow the removal of undersized, endangered or protected animals and have participated in the Fisheries Enforcement Seminar, as well as, the Bird Guide Certification Course which both were implemented to assist in the protection and sustainability of the industry for years to come. Our children grew up on the waters surrounding Long Island and it is our hope that our grandchildren and great-grandchildren will be able to fully enjoy these treasures.

 Locally or Family-Owned Business Notes

We are completely family owned. And now as we expand we have hired the local young people in the area to encourage employment, as well as, the preservation of the environment where we all grew up.

 Pet Friendly Notes

Pets are welcome.
