About this Event

This event is held every year on the Bahamas Labour Day weekend. Bahamians and visitors from all walks of life come together to enjoy and participate in a variety of activities: the Pineapple Eating Contest, Pineapple Cooking Contest, Old Time Pineapple Crazy Sports, 40-Mile Pineapple Cycling Classic, plaiting of the Pineapple Pole, traditional games, live entertainment and the Little Miss Pineapple Princess Pageant.

Venue for the festival is Gregory Town, North Eleuthera.

Persons wishing to participate in any of the events can sign up at the site before they begin.

Accessibility Notes: The festival site is easily accessible to persons with mobility impairments and those in wheelchairs.
