 Locally or Family-Owned Business Notes
Small Hope Bay Lodge was opened by dive legend Dick Birch as a Dive Resort in the early days of recreational diving in 1960; it is now run by his son Jeff Birch. Bonefishing, and other rod and reel disciplines quickly became part of the recreational activities offered at the lodge.
Tradition and legacy is all present at this unpretentious, friendly, family-run resort. Only 21 beachfront cabins assure a family atmosphere where guests become friends and over time family members.
