This historic church (circa 1795) is said to have been one of the first Anglican churches in The Bahamas. It is part of the Southern Archdeaconry in the Acklins, Crooked Island, Long Cay, and Inagua parish. Its walls are still intact and a small section has been restored and is used for service today.

The small Loyalist cemetery on the church grounds has a number of large headstones and small foot-stones dating from 1860 to 1895.  Some of the gravestones include: “Henry Scavella, died 9/19/1884, age 59 years;” Henry Middleton Scavella, 6/9/1857-9/3/1895, age 38 years;” “James T. Farrington, died 12/24/1894;” “Caroline Nairn, 11/20/1882.”
