The Pirate's Well
Pirates Well through the bushes

Located near the west coast of South Bimini, this former well is now largely dry and is just a hole with limestone walls and a cement capping.

This was once the watering hole where pirates sailing in the area would stop and replenish their water supplies.

You can visit the well on your own, or contact Bimini Sands for a guided tour.

Time Period Represented: The well was dug in the 1500s.

Seasons Open: Year Round

Accessibility Notes: Persons with mobility impairments should be careful when moving around on the site.
